No Smoking Policy Shows No Sign Of Fading

no-smoking-policyThe United Kingdom has largely been under the new smoke-free legislation for over a year now. Both smokers and non-smokers have enjoyed the benefits of breathing smoke-free air within their working environments, clubs, pubs, restaurants, sports arena in fact any enclosed spaces including vehicles.

However, one thing that is required by law within the legislation is the use of signage to make the public aware that they are within a smoke-free zone. When the legislation was first enforced many businesses and organisations turned to printing out no smoking signs on A4 paper to help reduce costs enforcing the legislation. Today, however, these paper signs have been destroyed, damaged or the ink used has just faded away meaning that businesses and organisations are unknowingly flaunting the law and could face a severe or heavy fine.

The need to help promote your no smoking policy is crucial and by investing in the correct no smoking safety signs instead of A4 paper alternatives will save you money in the long run. No smoking safety signs are made from either PVC semi rigid plastic for durability or self adhesive vinyl which is very tough to rip and is handy for sticking in vehicle windows or shiny surfaces and conform to BSI industry standards – meaning the ink will not fade unlike A4 paper alternatives.
